AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA

The secret to this superb wine, pride of the Valpolicella, is the special selection for the grapes to be placed on wooden trays at the end of September, the meticulous control during the drying process t ill January/February when they are pressed. The loving care during the aging over the next two years gives this wine its completeness and nobleness.

Inviting aromas of blackberry, warm spice and tobacco emerge from the glass. The savory palate offers fresh plums, clove, espresso and a hint of truffle alongside fine-grained tannins. Made from native grapes that are processed following the “appassimento” method (in line with an age -old tradition in Valpolicella), and matured in oak barrels for 18 months.
