David Maudry and his wife Shirley, decided to create the MAISON LISPAUL named in honor of their children Lison and Paul-Henri. Our vineyard is located in the heart of the Pouilly-fumé appellation in Tracy sur Loire. The Menetou-Salon appellation is located northeast of Bourges, southwest of the AOC Pouilly-fumé and Sancerre. The clay and limestone content of the soil, as well as its depth, help to shape the distinctive character of the wines produced from it.

POUILLY FUME

VINEYARD: All the soils are cultivated with respect to the environment: sustainable agriculture with hand harvest followed by hand sorting on the platform.


Grape variety: 100% Sauvignon blanc


WINE: Our wine is vinified and aged in a thermo-regulated stainless steel tank for 8 months. Bottled throughout the year, our wine is available in 75cl


TASTING: Delicate nose of white flowers dominated by citrus and English candy. This wine will be the perfect match with seafood, fish, or white meat. A “Crottin de Chavignol” will also go perfectly!


Conservation of 4 to 5 years after bottling is possible.

MENETOU SALON

VINEYARD: All the soils are cultivated with respect to the environment: sustainable agriculture with hand-harvest followed by hand sorting on the platform. The vines are grown on limestone sediments dating from the Upper Jurassic (Kimmeridgian).


Grape variety: 100% Sauvignon blanc


WINE: Fermentation is controlled by thermoregulation. Bottled throughout the year, our wine is available in 75cl


TASTING: Really fresh and balanced wine with peppery and slightly minty notes. The nose is intense and aromatic with notes of citrus, peach, and ripe fruit. The palate is fruity and fresh.

SANCERRE

VINEYARD: All the soils are cultivated with respect of environment: sustainable agriculture with hand harvest followed by hand sorting on platform.

Grape variety: 100% Sauvignon blanc AOC

WINE: This wine passed 5 months on the lees which gives it a particular finesse, then was aged in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks for severals months.

TASTING: Our sancerre is characterized by its citrus aromas and its inimitable “gun flint” notes. Fruity, minerality and freshness in the mouth to leave the taste full of emotions. The perfect match for aperitif, fish, seafood, oysters, white meat, spicy dishes and asian cuisine. A conservation of 3 years after bottling is possible.
